Arrival and departure
Your room at Sonja Alpine Resort will be ready by 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and is at your disposal until 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. In case of earlier arrival or later departure, you are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception.
Bank
The next banks are located in Kaprun and Piesendorf, only a few minutes by car from the hotel.
Bar
At our bar in the lobby, you can enjoy fine wines, cocktails and spirits every night.
Bathrobe and slippers
In your room, you will find a bag with bathrobes, towels and slippers.
Please be aware, that the wellness area might be slippery.
Bicycles and tours
The area surrounding Sonja Alpine Resort is perfectly suited for bicycle tours. Bikes can be borrowed at the ”Fahrrad Center“ in Zell am See, amongst others. You can store your bike safely in our bicycle room.

The valid booking conditions will be sent to you with the offer.
Breakfast
Breakfast is every day from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and includes a
vast buffet and an omelette station. The breakfast is included in your
room rate.
Climbing
The region surrounding Sonja Alpine Resort offers countless possibilities for climbing and bouldering. Advanced climbers will enjoy Austria’s highest mountain, the Großglockner, and various other routes. Beginners can take their first vertical steps in the climbing park and hall in Saalfelden
Damages
Guests are liable for negligently or intentionally caused damages in the rooms and apartments or our house, as well as for any losses of earnings if rooms are not accessible for other guests due to cleaning or repair necessities.
Fitness
Our gym is equipped with the most modern TechnoGym machines and a weightlifting area and is included in your room rate.
To avoid injuries, children younger than 14 may not use the gym without being supervised.
Internet
You receive free Wi-Fi in all rooms and areas of the hotel. The log-in works without a password.
Ironing
Please note that due to safety reasons, ironing is not permitted in the rooms and apartments. The hotel offers a separate ironing room. If you would like to use it, just let us know at the reception.
Lunch
Our restaurant is closed at noon. In Kaprun or in Zell am See, you will find various restaurants that offer lunch. Our reception will be glad to assist you.
Motorcycles and tours
The region surrounding Sonja Alpine Resort offers wonderful motorcycle routes such as the mountain passes across the Dientner Sattel, Felbertauern or the Großglockner High Alpine Route. Brochures about the best routes are available at the reception.
You can park your motorcycle in front of the hotel, or safely in our garage.
Parking
You can park your vehicle for free in the parking lot in front of the hotel, or – at a charge of EUR 10 for 24 hours – in our garage. The outdoor parking spots cannot be reserved.
Payment
We accept cash, EC cards, Visa and Mastercard.
Pets
You are welcome to bring your dog to Sonja Alpine Resort. The charge is EUR 19 per day and dog and includes

- bowls for food and water
- a small welcome gift
At our reception, we offer a dog guide for the region. Out of consideration for our other guests, we kindly ask you not to bring your dog to the restaurant.
Your dog may stay in the room alone, on your responsibility.
Combat and listed dogs are not allowed at the Sonja Alpine Resort. The maximum number of dogs in one room is 2.
The final cleaning of the room is included in the dog rate.
Pool
The panoramic pool on the top floor of the hotel is opened every day from 9.00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Please note, that the wellness, pool and relaxation area are not separated and that therefore we cannot guarantee silence at all times.
From 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., the spa area is reserved exclusively for adults.
Prices
Our prices include VAT and exclude visitor’s tax and other possible taxes. Errors and mistakes reserved. The price on your reservation confirmation is binding.
Not consumed meals cannot be refunded.
Reception
Our reception is open from 7:30 a.m. until 10.00 p.m. After 10.00 p.m., you can enter the hotel with your key card.
Safe
In every room, you will find a safe for your valuables.
Sauna
In our spa area, you will find an infrared cabin, a soft sauna (60 °C), and a Finnish sauna (90 °C) and an aroma steam bath, which are at your disposal from 3.00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
As all saunas have transparent doors, we kindly ask not to use the saunas nude during the day. From 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. the spa area is reserved exclusively for adults. In this time, the saunas may be used nude.

Seminar rooms
Our seminar room is equipped with flip charts, projector and screen and offers space for up to 40 people. We will gladly make an offer for the catering and accomodation of your seminar participants.
Ski lifts and cable cars
Our reception offers brochures with all current dates and prices for the surrounding ski lifts, including Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe as well as the Ski Circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
Ski room
For every room, there is a ski safe in the ski room, which you can open and lock with your key card.
Skiing
Thanks to the glaciers, skiing in Zell am See-Kaprun is possible almost throughout the whole year. On hills and mountains with up to 3000 metres, winter athletes will find perfect conditions matching their skills and preferences.
The ski bus station is located about 2 minutes by foot from the Sonja Alpine Resort. Ski buses in both directions leave every 15-30 minutes (depending on the season).

Schmittenhöhe/ Zell am See: 10 min

Smoking
Our suites and apartments are non-smoking rooms, but each of them has a balcony and terrace. All other indoor rooms are non-smoking, as well.
Supermarket
The next supermarket is located only a few minutes by foot from the hotel in the direction of Kaprun.
Tap Water
Our tap water at Sonja Alpine Resort has drinking water quality.
Trips
At our reception, we offer recommendations and brochures for trips in and around the region of Zell am See-Kaprun.
Wellness
Our wellness area with saunas, steambath, infrared cabin, pool, showers and a relaxation area is located on the top floor of the hotel and is at your disposal every day from 9.00 a.m. until 9.00 p.m. (saunas from 3.00 p.m.). We kindly ask not to use the saunas nude during the day. From 7.00 p.m. until 9.00 p.m. you have the possibility to use the sauna textile-free. From 7.00 p.m. we also ask for your understanding that the pool and sauna area is available exclusively to our adult guests..
